What is Taunya Jodoh?

Taunya Jodoh is our sharing platform. We have so many stories to share! This blog will follow our journey as newlyweds, our lives together as a couple, our trips, our hunt for the perfect house to call home, and many more.

Started as friends first, and a couple second, we never thought we end up with each other. Hence the name, Taunya Jodoh - lama temenan, eh, taunya jodoh. As a couple, we love to share our journey. From the very start, we've experienced most of new couples are facing. We didn't know what to do back then, but turns out we figured it out in the end. We thought, hey, why not share our story so we can help people in need of information that we know? It will save a lot of time and give them reference of what they can do as a couple. And here we are!

We're no experts in any field, let's just think of us as your next-door neighbor. You can share your story, ask us questions, and if we happen to know the answer, we will be happy to help. If we don't know? We'll tell you honestly!

Who are we?

Dion Tengker and Raden Ayu Nurhasanah. We are the couple behind Taunya Jodoh. We're married in September 2016, and currently living in Jakarta. We met years before we got married, and we were in the same circle of friends for years.

Dion was single for few months, Ayu was just changing her status to single. We practically knew each other bad habits already. Along the way, we started to have more conversation other than the usual, and found out we have so much in common. Be it's our taste in music, in travel style, or our point of view of life. Believe it or not, we happen to finish each other's sentences most of the time. It's like we share the same brain!

It took a relatively long time until we're finally in a relationship. Ever since we made it official, things just fall into place. It wasn't all flowers and blue skies, but knowing that we have each other, it was all worth it. We feel at whole with each other, we become the better version of ourselves - because of each other.

We, as a couple, love good tunes. Love the sea - we called ourselves thalassophiles. Can't get over our wedding. We're practically do everything together. And that's what we'd like to share to you guys!
